It took a few tries (2 to NIH, 1 to CIHR, 1 to UNC, 1 to AAWS and 2 to NSERC) but I finally got a post-doc fellowship! YAY!!!!! So it looks as though I’m going to be able to work in Vancouver for the next two years starting this summer.
When do tickets for 2010 hockey and curling go on sale?

hee hee! Greg is thinking that we should actually try to NOT be in Vancouver during the Olympics! Heh, we’ll see if I can convince him otherwise! 🙂
How much do you think they would be?

Two words: A lot. They’re projecting the gold medal game to be in the thousands per seat, so it’ll trickle down from there. Mind you, that’s the scalped price. You’ll need a lot of pull (or the will to stand in line for a while) to get the regular price, which will probably be like a Canucks playoff game (so a couple hundred dollars).
I’m hoping you’ve got some pull somewhere. 🙂
Curling would be cheaper I’d imagine, it’s not as popular on the west coast as it is in the east.
