The movers are coming tomorrow morning, so all is well.  I think I have one more trip to make in the car (with stuff that&#8217;s easier to move myself than to pack properly).\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAs many of you know, Kat and I have some&hellip; tension surrounding the amount of stuff we have in the house.  I think I&#8217;m fighting a belief that if it&#8217;s in a box, it doesn&#8217;t count as clutter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI knew packing was going to pour salt on that wound.  I must say, it wasn&#8217;t as bad as I thought.  But, I did find:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bags of bags.  Probably a half dozen of various kinds: gym bags, shoulderbags, gift bags, clothes-store bags.  In all cases, a bag of type X seems to contain many other bags of type X.<\/li>\n<li>Three Bon Jovi tapes.  We don&#8217;t own a tape player.<\/li>\n<li>Two breakfast-in-bed trays, which can have photos put in the surface.  So, it&#8217;s like eating off a multi-opening picture frame. Ain&#8217;t nobody getting breakfast in bed as long as these are in the house.<\/li>\n<li>A DVD player that I had forgotten about.  It&#8217;s for Kat&#8217;s mother, but we hadn&#8217;t given it to her because it&#8217;s dirty.  I offered to get the lens cleaner out&hellip; no &hellip; it&#8217;s just dusty.<\/li>\n<li>More craft stuff and picture frames than I knew about.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nUpdate:  I just counted.  72 boxes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, I&#8217;m very nearly done packing.
